Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Kazem Gharibabadi mentioned the recent spherical of talks between Iran and the EU3 (France, the UK and Germany) will start in Switzerland’s Geneva on January 13.
He insisted that the upcoming occasion shall be considered “talks, not negotiations”, saying numerous topics shall be mooted within the consultations.
Diplomats from Iran, the UK, France and Germany held discussions in Geneva in late November 2024.
“We mentioned and took inventory of current bilateral, regional and worldwide developments, notably nuclear and sanctions lifting points,” Gharibabadi said in late November.
“We’re firmly dedicated to pursue the pursuits of our individuals, and our desire is the trail of dialogue and engagement,” he continued, including, “It was agreed to proceed diplomatic dialogue in close to future.”
