The US continued to exert stress on Iran on Friday whilst Iranian Overseas Minister Abbas Araghchi introduced that the Strait of Hormuz was fully open for business vessels.
“According to the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all business vessels by way of the Strait of Hormuz is said fully open for the remaining interval of [the] ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already introduced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Araghchi stated on social media.
US President Donald Trump thanked Iran for the motion however stated a US naval blockade on vessels getting into and leaving Iranian ports would stay in “full drive and impact … solely till such time as our transaction with Iran is 100 per cent full”.
Trump added that the method would go rapidly as a result of many of the factors had already been negotiated.
Earlier, US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth renewed his threats in opposition to Iran, saying that the US would assault Iran’s civilian infrastructure if diplomatic efforts failed.
