BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The state industrial fee has accepted a brand new grant program for the Analysis and Expertise Park at North Dakota State College.
This system will help analysis and product improvement that advance clever autonomous cellular gear, primarily in agriculture and protection.
Analysis and Expertise Park CEO Brenda Wyland offered the plan to the Industrial Fee, which is able to oversee this system.
“This program builds a direct pathway from scientific discovery to market deployment, accelerating dual-use applied sciences that strengthen our financial system and advance each agriculture and protection,” Wyland mentioned. “We’re deeply grateful to the Industrial Fee for his or her help and to the North Dakota Legislature for his or her dedication and imaginative and prescient in making this program funding doable.”
Gov. Kelly Armstrong chairs the Industrial Fee. The opposite members are Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and Legal professional Normal Drew Wrigley.
The Legislature accepted $5 million in non-matching cash and $5 million in matched funding for the grant program.
