India Expels 6 Canadian Envoys After Trudeau Govt’s Allegations on Nijjar’s Killing
India has expelled six Canadian diplomats in after Canada named an Indian envoy as a “individual of curiosity” within the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Nijjar was gunned down in 2023 in Vancouver. Later, Canadian authorities mentioned they have been pursuing “credible” claims that brokers of the Indian authorities have been concerned. Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commissioner Mike Duheme acknowledged that their probe revealed Indian diplomats have been concerned within the killing and different violent acts on Canadian soil. India has denounced the allegations as “ludicrous” and accused Canada of supporting separatism. In the meantime, Canadian chief Justin Trudeau insists the proof towards India is compelling.
