Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma-led Nationwide Folks’s Social gathering (NPP) has withdrawn its assist from the N Biren Singh-led Bharatiya Janata Social gathering (BJP) authorities within the northeast Indian state of Manipur. The NPP expressed “deep concern” over the regulation and order state of affairs within the state, witnessing ethnic violence and protests. The NPP wrote a letter to BJP Chief JP Nadda citing its dissatisfaction over the federal government’s “failure to resolve the disaster and restore normalcy”.
