The Republic of Ghana has determined to droop diplomatic relations with the so-called “sadr”.
This determination was communicated in an official doc from the Ministry of Overseas Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana, addressed to the Ministry of Overseas Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco.
The Republic of Ghana “has determined to right away inform, by means of diplomatic channels, the Authorities of the Kingdom of Morocco, the African Union and the United Nations, of this place.”
In the identical official doc, the Republic of Ghana expressed its help for the “good-faith efforts made by the Kingdom of Morocco to achieve an answer accepted by all events.”
The Republic of Ghana had acknowledged the so-called “sadr” in 1979.
As a result of impetus given to the Moroccan Sahara difficulty by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, 46 nations, together with 13 African nations, have severed or suspended their relations with the so-called “sadr” since 2000.
