To the editor: I mourn for God’s creation. As a Christian and an emeritus professor of biology who spent his analysis life learning varied species of God’s creation, I’m saddened to as soon as once more count on one other assault on the atmosphere during which we dwell. (“‘Drill, baby, drill!’ and climate change denial: California braces for a Trump environment,” Nov. 10)
Your article particulars what the incoming Trump administration is prone to do with regard to dismantling environmental businesses, rolling again safety of public lands and demanding will increase in oil and fuel manufacturing. It’s a slap within the face of all these, together with Republicans, who for many years crafted legal guidelines to decelerate assaults on the Earth.
After all, that is what President-elect Trump stated he would do. I think that God shouldn’t be pleased with individuals who permit his creation to be destroyed. However God gave us the reward of free will, and it’s as much as us to guard the world. We should do higher.

We should level to the successes of the Inflation Discount Act in spurring funding and innovation. We should encourage our representatives to push for bipartisan options, such because the proposed Power Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. We should reward companies that provide sustainable merchandise and expose the decades-long disinformation marketing campaign of the fossil gas trade.
I hope California will probably be a pacesetter in all of this.

To the editor: Simply because Trump was elected doesn’t imply that we must always pause in our efforts to attenuate probably the most devastating harm that the altering local weather might trigger.
That is the time to roll up our sleeves and go to work utilizing our abilities to safe the most effective future for our offspring. Extra folks must get entangled. These already concerned must work even tougher.
It was by no means going to be simple, however Trump is simply making it tougher. It is going to be tough however not inconceivable.
