The monarch butterfly, identified for its stunning orange, black and brown wings, was declared endangered final July by the Worldwide Union for the Conservation of Nature.
Scientists imagine local weather change, pesticides and unlawful logging are threatening their very existence.
However the species is now making a comeback in Mexico.
