    Thailand now has one of many world’s most liberal marijuana regimes.

    The nation legalised cultivating and consuming hashish in June, reversing a hard-line strategy of lengthy jail sentences and even the dying penalty for drug offences.

    The regime has sparked off a growth in weed-related companies hoping to money in on a brand new buyer base.

    The BBC’s South East Asia correspondent Jonathan Head studies on what’s behind the dramatic change.
