    How Iran state TV tries to control story of protests – BBC News

    Photographs and movies of the protests which have rocked Iran for weeks have been shared world wide on social media.

    The unrest was sparked following the demise of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini after being detained by Iran’s morality police.

    However what Iranians see of the protests on state TV is kind of completely different to what’s being shared on social media, as the federal government tightly controls what seems on it.
