Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth stated on Wednesday that the U.S. army has carried out one other strike within the Japanese Pacific focusing on alleged terrorists he says have been engaged in narco-trafficking.
Three suspected narco-terrorists have been killed, in accordance with Hegseth. The strikes have been ordered on the path of President Donald Trump.
Hegseth stated the Pentagon performed “one more deadly kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Group (DTO). But once more, the now-deceased terrorists have been engaged in narco-trafficking within the Japanese Pacific.”
“The vessel was recognized by our intelligence to be concerned in illicit narcotics smuggling, was transiting alongside a recognized narco-trafficking route, and was carrying narcotics,” he continued. “Three male narco-terrorists have been aboard the vessel throughout the strike, which was performed in worldwide waters. All three terrorists have been killed and no U.S. forces have been harmed on this strike.”
That is the ninth vessel strike since September and the second strike reported within the Japanese Pacific.
“These strikes will proceed, day after day,” Hegseth stated on Wednesday. “These should not merely drug runners—these are narco-terrorists bringing demise and destruction to our cities. These DTOs are the “Al Qaeda” of our hemisphere and won’t escape justice. We’ll discover them and kill them, till the menace to the American individuals is extinguished.”
