Heather Barker, assistant professor of arithmetic and statistics, offered on the seventeenth Session of the Worldwide Consortium for Analysis in Science and Arithmetic Schooling March 5 – 8, 2025 in Valladolid, Mexico.
The session is held each two years, to carry collectively science and arithmetic educators in collaborating international locations. This session introduced collectively 75 educators from the US, Carribean, Latin America and Europe.
Heather Barker offered on her work growing a pedagogical framework for Educating Statistics for Social Justice. It was an amazing alternative to study analysis and pedagogy that may show very helpful in educating future courses.
Worldwide conferences typically give attendees further time to discover the host nation and get to know different attendees. Journey to this convention was funded by Elon School, the School of Arts and Science.
