Author Anne Crown spoke to a gaggle of Hawthorne neighborhood guide membership members at a Feb. 27 writer speak occasion.
Crown enthralled the viewers by studying passages from her guide, “Evergreen.” Then she mentioned her writing journey, answered questions from the viewers and signed books. Crown was accompanied by her writer, Crystal Heidel of Byzantium Sky Press, and so they each mentioned their experiences of the publishing course of.
Set in Paris and Provence, “Evergreen” tells a narrative about decisions and the way an surprising occasion can change the course of 1’s life. It’s an uncommon love story of twists and turns with a shock ending. To emphasise Crown’s vivid descriptions of the Provence panorama with its infinite fields of lavender, each desk was adorned with aromatic sprigs obtained from Lavender Fields in Milton.
A member of the Rehoboth Seashore Writers Guild because it was first established in 2004, Crown can also be an acclaimed artist who has traveled extensively and painted in each Europe and the US.
