    A passenger vessel recognized for cruises across the waters of Vancouver ended up in a precarious scenario Sunday with passengers on board.

    The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Victoria says it discovered MV Harbour Princess ran aground off West Vancouver late Sunday morning.

    MV Harbour Princess belongs to Harbour Cruises, an area cruise ship and marine operator.

    The boat hit rocks east of Level Atkinson close to Lighthouse Park, with the marine rescue coordination centre notified of the crash round 11:30 a.m.

    “We have been having lunch and swiftly, ‘increase’ we hear and we crashed,” mentioned one passenger.

    It’s unclear what number of passengers have been on board the vessel, which touts a capability of as much as 275 company.
