Guatemalan presidential candidate Bernardo Arevalo has launched his marketing campaign for a run-off poll in August.
A federal prosecutor had earlier introduced a ban on Arevalo’s Semilla celebration for suspected violations of election regulation.
The electoral fee says the vote will go forward as deliberate. There are considerations that some ongoing investigations may disrupt the marketing campaign.
