The Conservatives will maintain Prime Minister Mark Carney “accountable” when Parliament returns within the fall, Chief Pierre Poilievre mentioned at his first press convention since securing a return to the Home of Commons.
“It’s nice to be again in motion,” Poilievre instructed reporters in B.C., days after he received the byelection within the federal Alberta driving of Battle River-Crowfoot on Monday.
Poilievre was ousted from his beforehand held Ottawa-area driving of Carleton in April’s federal election by Liberal MP Bruce Fanjoy.

Damien Kurek, who had represented the solidly Conservative driving since 2019, resigned his seat in June so Poilievre might run in a second likelihood race.
“Mark Carney is one strolling, speaking damaged promise. And our job within the fall session can be to carry him accountable for the failures which are costing you extra, endangering your loved ones and weakening our nation,” Poilievre instructed reporters.

“We’re not simply going to oppose uncontrolled Liberal crime, inflation, immigration, housing prices. We’re going to suggest actual options that may imply stronger take-home pay, safer streets, safe borders and a self-reliant Canada,” he added.
Poilievre criticized Carney for failing to safe a commerce take care of the US.
