Germany’s overseas minister Anna Baerbock has stated she “wouldn’t stand in the best way” of Poland in the event that they have been to ship Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
Ukraine has referred to as on the West to offer the German-made tanks which they are saying will assist them defeat Russia.
However Germany is but to offer the armoured autos, and its export legal guidelines stop different international locations from sending theirs.
On Sunday, Ms Baerbock stated Poland had not but requested for export permission. Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated on Monday the federal government would request authorisation from Berlin.
However he stated Poland would ship the tanks to Ukraine, even when it was not granted.
