1000’s of individuals gathered in Memphis to mourn the demise of 29-year-old father Tyre Nichols.
Mr Nichols died three days after he was overwhelmed by police following a visitors cease.
5 officers have been charged together with his homicide.
Household and mates in addition to nationwide figures, together with Vice President Kamala Harris, have been on the funeral to pay their respects to Mr Nichols.
Graphic bodycam footage of Mr Nichols’ encounter with police confirmed him being brutally punched, kicked, pepper-sprayed and struck by law enforcement officials.
The assault sparked protests towards police violence throughout america.
