FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has signed extradition papers within the Bahamas and can now be flown to the US to face legal costs.
The crypto-exchange boss was arrested within the Bahamas final week after federal prosecutors in New York filed an eight-count indictment, together with allegations of fraud and conspiracy.
Mr Bankman-Fried initially stated he would contest extradition from the Bahamas – the place he lives and the place FTX is predicated – however reportedly reversed his resolution on the weekend.
