LAPD ends Kamala Harris safety after union backlash over elite officer use: report
A specialised unit with the Los Angeles Police Division is not offering former Vice President Kamala Harris safety, in line with a brand new report.
Officers with LAPD’s Metropolitan Division, which falls below the police division’s particular operations group, stepped in to offer Harris with safety after President Donald Trump yanked Harris’ safety element in August, The New York Instances reported.
However that safety ended on Saturday following backlash from the LAPD’s union, The Los Angeles Police Protecting League. The union known as the association “nuts,” arguing that “LA taxpayers shouldn’t be footing the invoice for this ridiculousness.”…READ MORE.
