The 4 who died have been recognized as 45-year-old Lakshmi Narasimhalu, a resort worker and resident of Burugupalli village, 27-year-old Nagesh Gadugu of Madakal village, 30-year-old Ganesh Rathod from Dakka tanda in Shahabad taluk and 35-year-old Manohar Chavan of Bheemanahalli tanda in Chittapur taluk of Kalaburagi district.

A grievance was lodged by Navitha Bhagappa Kachavar within the Sedam Police Station on Wednesday wherein she said that her mom Lakshmi Narasimhalu and her brother Ningappa on Tuesday known as her to acquire token from conventional healer named Fakirappa of Imadapur village for getting medication from him for alcohol de-addiction.
As insisted upon by her mom, Navitha Kachavar and her husband visited Imadapur on Wednesday morning to gather token for session. Her mom and brother reached Imadapur at midday.

The victims have been initially rushed to the Sedam Taluk Hospital after which, Lakshmi Narashimhalu and Ningappa have been shifted to Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) in Kalaburagi.
Superintendent of Police Adduru Srinivasulu mentioned that accused Fakirappa has been arrested. He was despatched to judicial custody on Thursday.
