    PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) – Former WDAM 7 journalist/anchor Colleen Munkel spent weeks and weeks immersed in Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.

    Because the twentieth anniversary of the killer storm’s arrival within the Pine Belt looms, Munkel shared her recollections of that point that was so devastating for thus many throughout South Mississippi.
