A military-run court docket in Myanmar has sentenced former chief Aung San Suu Kyi to an extra three years in jail on election fraud costs, her attorneys have informed the BBC.
Ms Suu Kyi has now been sentenced to twenty years in jail on 11 counts, with a number of costs remaining, which may see her face nearly 200 years in jail if convicted.
Suu Kyi denies the entire accusations, and the trials have been condemned by rights teams as politically-motivated.
