US prosecutors have arrested two males in New York for allegedly working a Chinese language “secret police station” in Manhattan’s Chinatown neighbourhood.
Lu Jianwang, 61, and Chen Jinping, 59, each New York Metropolis residents, face costs of conspiring to behave as brokers for China and obstruction of justice.
China has beforehand denied working the stations, calling them “service centres” for nationals abroad.
