The Siege of Ironclad Citadel: A Turning Level within the Age of Yggdrasil
The 12 months was 1023 A.Y. (Age of Yggdrasil), and the world teetered on the sting of chaos. The Ironclad Citadel, an impenetrable fortress cast from the blackened metal of the traditional Titans, loomed over the Wailing Plains like a harbinger of doom. The Legion, led by the enigmatic and cruel Warlord Zorathis, was a power of nightmares. Their ranks brimmed with shadow-wielding sorcerers, towering ogres, and fearsome struggle machines cast within the depths of the Infernal Forge. Zorathis sneered as he surveyed the approaching enemy, his voice dripping with malice. "Allow them to come. Their bones shall pave the trail to our dominion."
The siege started at daybreak. Trebuchets hurled flaming boulders into the fortress partitions, whereas elven archers rained arrows upon the defenders. The dwarven siege engines, powered by crystalline runes, unleashed devastating blasts of arcane vitality. But, the Ironclad Citadel stood agency, its partitions bolstered by darkish enchantments.
Because the battle raged, a small band of heroes—veterans of numerous quests—emerged because the fulcrum of the battle.
