Environmental Art and Design Prize Entries are now open

Are you a visible artist or designer with a dedication to the atmosphere?

Perhaps you’re a ceramicist, photographer, architect, industrial or designer influenced by local weather change and sustainable artistic practices.

The Environmental Artwork & Design Prize could also be for you.

Now in its fifth 12 months, Environmental Artwork & Design Prize is accepting submissions exploring environmental themes from 26 March to 19 Could 2025. It’s open to artists and designers of all ranges and numerous disciplines from throughout Australia.

There are 4 prizes on provide this 12 months with prize cash totalling $46,000. Roughly 80% of the prize cash being funded by our beneficiant sponsors and software charges. The visible arts and design winners every receiving a formidable $20,000. The folks’s alternative winners and the younger artists/designers have a prize pool of $3,000 every.

Council is thrilled to announce this 12 months’s esteemed judges Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran (artwork) and Keinton Butler (design).

Every choose has huge expertise within the artwork and design world. Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran is a up to date artist along with his work showing in galleries throughout the globe. Keinton Butler is Senior Curator at Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum and can be the Artistic Director of Sydney Design Week.

All finalists might be featured in an exhibition throughout Northern Seashores Council’s 3 galleries, Manly Artwork Gallery & Museum (MAG&M), Curl Curl Artistic Area and Mona Vale Artistic Area Gallery from 1 August to 14 September 2025.

Finalists might be introduced on Friday 23 Could and the winners introduced on Friday 1 August 2025.
