“Archaeologists have uncovered intact parts of the inspiration wall of pharaonic Queen Hatshepsut’s valley temple in Luxor and the close by tomb of Queen Teti Sheri, grandmother of Ahmose I, the primary pharaoh of Egypt’s golden New Kingdom period.

Queen Teti Sheri, whose tomb was discovered close by, was grandmother of Ahmose I, who liberated Egypt from the Hyksos peoples who had invaded Egypt from throughout Sinai to the east. She died within the ninth 12 months of Ahmose’s reign, a century earlier than Hatshepsut’s.
The easy tomb was carved in rock and lay on the finish of a mudbrick vaulted chapel with pink wall drawings painted on a layer of white mortar.
