Ed Sheeran didn’t copy Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On when composing Pondering Out Loud, a US courtroom has dominated.
The British singer-songwriter had denied stealing parts of the music for his 2014 worldwide hit.
Heirs of Gaye’s co-writer argued that Sheeran, Warner Music Group and Sony Music Publishing owed them cash for copyright infringement.
Sheeran had mentioned he would quit his music profession if discovered responsible on the trial in New York.
