TYLER — A controversial invoice aiming to restrict youngsters’s entry to specific books in public libraries is gaining new momentum in East Texas.
Home Invoice 3225 is again in focus after Texas state Rep. Daniel Alders, R-Tyler, urged Gov. Greg Abbott so as to add it to the particular session.
Supporters say it protects children from specific content material, whereas critics increase censorship issues.
“We’re fairly strict on what they’ll entry simply because we really feel, my husband (and) I really feel it’s our job to protect their hearts and minds,” dad or mum Magan Walker stated.
