Preventing within the jap Democratic Republic of Congo continues as M23 rebels and their allies advance, seizing management of Bukavu, the provincial capital of South Kivu. Heavy clashes have disrupted every day life, forcing many residents to flee. Ports alongside Lake Kivu have simply reopened after weeks of closure because of violence.
