    A robust earthquake has killed a minimum of 1,000 individuals and injured 1,500 in japanese Afghanistan.

    The nation’s Taliban authorities appealed for worldwide assist for the rescue effort within the province of Paktika.

    A whole lot of homes have been destroyed. It’s the deadliest earthquake to strike Afghanistan in 20 years and a significant problem for the Taliban, the Islamist motion which regained energy final yr after the Western-backed authorities collapsed.
