Correctional Service Canada says a convicted killer has escaped from a jail in Quebec’s Laurentians area.
Employees found Richard Plourde was lacking from his minimal safety unit at about 11 p.m. Sunday.
The 62-year-old was serving a life sentence for second-degree homicide at Archambault Establishment.
He has a good complexion, brown eyes and gray hair.

He additionally has a tattoo of a cranium bone and a hand on his proper shoulder, a rose on his stomach and the letters R.P. on his proper arm.
The federal company says it has contacted Quebec provincial police who’ve issued a warrant for Plourde’s arrest.
