Preventing between the Sudanese military and a paramilitary group referred to as the Fast Assist Forces (RSF) has continued regardless of the declared extension of a ceasefire, as a senior United Nations official arrived within the nation for talks on offering reduction to hundreds of thousands of trapped civilians.
The go to by prime UN humanitarian official Martin Griffiths on Wednesday comes a day after neighbouring South Sudan introduced that the warring sides had agreed “in precept” to a seven-day ceasefire.
