4-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome has been airlifted to hospital after struggling a number of accidents after a coaching crash in southern France.
The 40-year-old was taken to hospital on Wednesday afternoon by helicopter following a crash close to Toulon, round 105 miles (170 km) from his house in Monaco.
Froome may have again surgical procedure afterward Wednesday after struggling a lumbar vertebrae fracture, in addition to 5 damaged ribs.
