China’s President Xi Jinping has arrived in Moscow for a two-day go to and talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It’s Xi’s first go to to Russia since Russian troops invaded Ukraine in 2022. The leaders are because of have lunch later, and maintain formal talks on Tuesday.
Beijing has described the assembly as a visit “for friendship and peace”, with Russia saying the leaders will focus on a “complete partnership and strategic co-operation”.
