Renault CEO Luca de Meo says ramping up electrification in Europe will probably be tougher if policymakers fail to achieve agreements involving uncooked supplies and batteries. “We have to discover a cope with China,” de Meo informed Bloomberg’s Oliver Criminal on the Paris Motor Present. The EU voted on Oct. 4 to spice up tariffs on electrical automobiles from China to as excessive as 45%.
