On March 14, Chargé d’Affaires Wang Sheng met with Hon. Mose Moyo, Second Deputy Speaker of the Nationwide Meeting of Zambia. Members of the Government Committee of the Zambia-China Parliamentary Friendship Group have been current.
Mr. Wang mentioned that, in recent times, the 2 legislative our bodies have maintained common high-level interactions, intensive capacity-building actions and strengthened help in multilateral arenas, which have contributed to the expansion of bilateral relations. He expressed a hope that the Zambian Nationwide Meeting would proceed to uphold the one-China precept and additional promote China-Zambia friendship.
Hon. Moyo remarked that Zambia-China friendship has a protracted, enduring, and unbreakable historical past. He thanked China for its long-standing help for Zambia’s improvement efforts, noting that China’s help on revitalization of the TAZARA Railway would carry new improvement alternatives to Zambia.
