Professor Deborah Prentice, Vice-Chancellor
Professor Deborah Prentice grew to become the College of Cambridge’s 347th Vice-Chancellor on 1 July 2023.
An eminent psychologist, Professor Prentice carried out her tutorial and administrative profession at Princeton College, which she first joined in 1988. At Princeton, she served for twelve years as Head of the Division of Psychology, three years as Dean of the School, and 6 years as Provost, with main accountability for all tutorial, budgetary, and long-term planning points. Concerning the Vice-Chancellorship
The Vice-Chancellor is the principal tutorial and administrative officer of the College. They chair the Council of the College, the Basic Board of the Colleges and the Finance Committee of the Council. The principle duties of the Vice-Chancellor are to:
