    A slew of celebrities, together with BTS members and IU, joined the wave of donations Tuesday to help victims of the devastating wildfires ripping by way of the Gyeongsang provinces and to firefighters combating the blazes.
     
    Singer IU donated 200 million received ($136,441) by way of the Hope Bridge Korea Catastrophe Aid Affiliation to assist with injury management and enhance therapy for native firefighters. 
     
     
    “I hope that I might be of a small assist to the victims and relay my deepest condolences,” she mentioned in a press release. “I sincerely hope that the fireplace will get put out quickly, and I’m actually grateful for the dedication of the firefighters on web site.”
     
    BTS members J-Hope and Suga donated 100 million received every by way of the Hope Bridge Korea Catastrophe Aid Affiliation and the Korean Purple Cross. The funds will go towards emergency catastrophe reduction, reparations after the fireplace and offering requirements for the victims, company BigHit mentioned.  
     
    Seventeen, a 13-member boy band, donated 1 billion received to help the fireplace victims by way of the Hope Bridge Korea Catastrophe Aid Affiliation. 
     
    Lady teams IVE and Le Sserafim, Oh My Lady member Arin and singer Lee Hyo-ri gave 50 million received, 200 million received, 20 million received and 100 million received, respectively, by way of the nonprofit. 
     
    Lady group Twice member Jihyo donated 50 million received by way of the Neighborhood Chest of Korea. 
      
     
    JYP Leisure, a Ok-pop powerhouse, donated 500 million received by way of World Imaginative and prescient. The cash will assist 10,000 residents most severely affected by the fireplace, the company mentioned. 
     
    Actors have additionally made donations in help of the fireplace victims.   
     
    Byeon Woo-seok, Lee Jong-suk and Jang Keun-suk gave 100 million received every, Lee Dong-wook gave 50 million received, Park Hae-soo gave 30 million received, Kim Se-jeong and Kim Sung-cheol gave 20 million every, and Roh Yoon-seo gave 10 million received, based on the Hope Bridge Korea Catastrophe Aid Affiliation on Thursday. 
     
    A number of wildfires broke out in Sancheong County, South Gyeongsang, and Uiseong County, North Gyeongsang, on March 21 and 22, and the Korean authorities has since declared a state of nationwide catastrophe. 
     
    The fires have claimed not less than 22 lives and injured 18 folks, based on the Ministry of the Inside and Security on Thursday. Roughly 33,204 hectares of land have been affected.
