    The previous head of the UK’s armed forces has stated he expects a “thorough investigation” after the BBC discovered proof that elite SAS troops executed detainees and murdered unarmed folks throughout their deployment in Afghanistan.

    The SAS forces had been trying to find bomb-makers on night time raids The BBC’s Panorama programme spoke to eye-witnesses and noticed navy reviews displaying folks had been shot useless after surrendering, in 2010 and 2011. It’s stated that one SAS unit killed 54 folks in suspicious circumstances.

    Lord Richards, the previous Chief of the Defence Workers, stated the allegations had been “worrying” and he had little doubt that the present head of British armed forces would wish to examine them.

    The UK Ministry of Defence stated it will all the time maintain UK troops to “the very best requirements” and that they’d served with braveness and professionalism in Afghanistan.
