A BRITISH man died on Monday after being swept out to sea on the island of Tenerife, it has emerged.
The 63-year-old vacationer was dragged away by a powerful wave together with two others close to the pure pool of Isla Cangrejo (pictured above), on the coast of Santiago del Teide.
The terrifying ordeal occurred shortly earlier than 12pm, when emergency providers obtained experiences of three individuals having been carried 30 metres out to shore.
A rescue helicopter that was roped into the search discovered one of many three face down within the water.
He was airlifted to a close-by soccer discipline to be handled by paramedics, whereas the opposite two people managed to make it again to shore themselves.
The Brit had entered cardiac arrest and couldn’t be resuscitated. He was pronounced useless on the scene.
A 50-year-old girl needed to be taken to hospital to be handled for varied minor accidents.
