A BRITISH teen jailed over a vacation romance in Dubai has made a determined plea to be allowed to return residence.
Marcus Fakana, 18, was sentenced to 12 months and stated he was struggling to manage as he waits on bail for an attraction.
He was arrested for sleeping with a 17-year-old British girl he met on vacation in Dubai — the place intercourse with any person aged underneath 18 is unlawful.
Marcus, from Tottenham, North London, stated: “I couldn’t wait to see her once more. However police knocked on my lodge door.
“On daily basis right here is troublesome. My household and I are devastated and in shock.
“I by no means supposed to interrupt the law.
“It didn’t happen to me on the time and for that, I’m sorry.
“I’m asking His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum to please forgive and pardon me.
“Please give me my life again. Let me go residence.”
The teenager, from Tottenham, North London has apologised to the ruler of the Gulf metropolis.
