Former Chicago White Sox pitcher Bobby Jenks has died on the age of 44 from a uncommon type of abdomen most cancers.
Jenks was a two-time All-Star pitcher for the Chicago White Sox and was a part of the group that ended their 88-year look forward to a World Sequence title in 2005.
He threw the ultimate pitch of the match in sport 4 of the sequence because the White Sox beat the Houston Astros.
“Now we have misplaced an iconic member of the White Sox household,” White Sox chairman Jerry Reinsdorf stated in an announcement.
“None of us will ever neglect all that Bobby did for the 2005 World Sequence champions and for all the Sox organisation throughout his time in Chicago.”
