Managing Asia’s Christine Tan caught up with ServiceNow’s Chairman and CEO, Invoice McDermott in Singapore, the place he shared about his partnership with Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and the way he plans to show ServiceNow into “the AI platform” for enterprise.
Since becoming a member of ServiceNow in late 2019, Invoice McDermott has been laser-focused on AI, driving his imaginative and prescient to place the corporate as “the AI platform for enterprise transformation.”
This is not simply an try and capitalize on a development; ServiceNow has been working in the direction of this aim for a while.
“We have been constructing massive language fashions with Jensen Huang and Nvidia greater than 5 years in the past,” Invoice McDermott instructed CNBC’s Christine Tan on the most recent episode of Managing Asia.
With AI the subject du jour, there are a variety of companies vying for consideration within the area. Nonetheless, McDermott believes ServiceNow is “not really competing with them.”
“If you concentrate on {the marketplace} immediately, it is largely constructed on firms which can be 50 plus years previous. And people programs of file, they’re good. However they have been in-built silos: finance, HR, gross sales. Now we have a platform that pans and spans all of them, as a result of we combine with them,” he defined.
