President Joe Biden praised the character of former President Jimmy Carter throughout his state funeral on the Nationwide Cathedral in Washington. “Jimmy Carter’s friendship taught me, and thru his life, taught me, the power of character is greater than the title or the facility we maintain,” Biden mentioned in his eulogy, including that “the best sin of all is the abuse of energy.”
