Key members of the Belarus opposition are on trial in absentia on fees of conspiracy to grab energy and forming an extremist organisation.
The 5 accused have all been residing overseas since fleeing after mass protests in 2020 didn’t topple president Alexander Lukashenko.
The opposition chief Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, a type of going through fees, informed the BBC the trial was a “farce”.
