After a public outcry in opposition to its closure, the BBC Singers choir has been given a reprieve.
The Company says it may proceed performing whereas it seems to be at different methods of funding the group, which is the UK’s solely full-time skilled chamber choir.
The singers have been on account of be axed simply earlier than their centenary due to BBC price range cuts.
Most of the the UK’s most outstanding musicians and conductors had criticised the plan.
