
GLASGOW, Ky. — Barren County Faculties has introduced Kris Aquino as its new district expertise coordinator.
Aquino has been a part of the Barren County Faculties staff for greater than a decade, serving as a trainer, college expertise coordinator, district expertise service specialist, district video coordinator and eSports coach.
He has additionally performed a key function within the districtwide IT initiatives, infrastructure and scholar expertise packages.
The district says his management has helped college students obtain a number of state championships in expertise competitions whereas additionally supporting lecturers and workers with revolutionary options.
Aquino is a graduate of Barren County Excessive Faculty and went on to check pc info expertise at Western Kentucky College earlier than finishing his bachelor’s diploma in pc info expertise at Colorado Technical College in 2020. His profession path consists of expertise in each public training and the non-public sector earlier than returning to Barren County Faculties in district expertise management.
