Delegates from around the globe have met in Barbados to debate reparations for what’s been known as one of many worst crimes towards humanity – the transatlantic slave commerce.
At the very least 12 million Africans have been transported throughout the Atlantic to the Americas and Caribbean islands to be offered into slavery.
For the reason that abolition of slavery in the UK and United States, no reparations have been made to the victims of slavery. The assembly could possibly be step one in direction of atonement.
