Garment employees and commerce unions in Bangladesh are demanding higher pay consistent with the rising price of dwelling and excessive inflation.
This comes at a tense time for the trade, after a union chief was killed final month whereas protesting for unpaid wages.
The nation is the second largest exporter of ready-made garments on the planet, using largely girls.
